Community Health Solution was created by Manatee County Rural Health Services, a private, not-for-profit medical group with a 30-year history of providing high-quality medical care to all members of the community regardless of their ability to pay. Since its inception, many other top health care providers have recognized the need and joined the provider network. The Gulf Coast Discount Medical Plan is owned and operated by Manatee County Rural Health Services, Inc. (MCRHS) www.mcrhs.org, a Joint Commission-accredited, private not-for-profit medical group that has served the Manatee County region for nearly 30 years. MCRHS now includes 46 physicians in 20 locations across three Florida counties. MCRHS, not affiliated with Manatee County government, is dedicated to the care of all patients regardless of their ability to pay. Gulf Coast Discount Medical Plan is not a health insurance plan and will not make any payment on a member’s behalf. Gulf Coast Discount Medical Plan members are entitled to discounts when participating health care providers’ bills are paid at the time of service. Community Health Solution is a service mark of MCRHS that is used to represent a suggested three-part solution that includes the Gulf Coast Discount Medical Plan along with the services of non-affiliated companies.
